Yes. All VoltGuard electricians are fully licensed, registered and insured. We work to current electrical standards and provide compliance certificates where required.
For urgent issues like loss of power, burning smells, sparking outlets or exposed live wiring, we offer 24/7 emergency call‑outs. We’ll assess your situation over the phone, give immediate safety advice and attend as soon as possible.
The cost of an electrical safety inspection depends on the size and type of the property and how detailed the report needs to be. For a typical home, there’s usually a fixed inspection fee which we can confirm up front once we know a few details about your switchboard, number of circuits and age of the wiring. Before we book you in, we’ll give you clear pricing and let you know exactly what’s included.
Yes – we have a “Tidy Tradies” guarantee. That means we clean up our mess when we’re done: packaging, offcuts, dust from drilling and any visible debris we’ve created. We know it’s your home or workplace, not a building site, so we aim to leave it as we found it – just with safer, better electrics.
Yes, most jobs include a call-out fee, which covers travel to your site and the initial assessment of the issue. We’ll always explain this clearly when you book, and in many cases we can give an up-front fixed price that includes both the call-out and the first block of labour. For larger projects or planned works, we usually provide a fixed quote instead of a standard call-out.
Absolutely. We can supply and install EV chargers or install a charger you’ve already purchased, provided it meets local standards. Before installation, we’ll assess your switchboard, main supply and parking setup to ensure everything is safe and capable of handling the extra load. We’ll also explain how to use the charger safely and discuss options for managing charging times to avoid overloading your system.
